Photos of Japan, Part 2
21st December, 2007

Lake Kawaguchi next to Fujiyama.

Wasabi Farm Daioh in Nagano, which is one of the country's largest wasabi farms. Wasabi is green Japanese horseradish.

This is the river flowing into the farm, look at how ridiculously clean the water is!

Daioh shrine from which the wasabi farm was named after.

Discarded fortunes.

Open fields and rolling hills in Nagano.

Ryoan-ji, a very famous rock garden. It's said that one may transcend the everyday cycle of thought and achieve enlightenment by gazing at these rocks. If you squint your eyes it looks like one of the opening scenes to Jurassic Park!

Saigawa River in - or rather through - Kanazawa.

More wish plates, but these ones are in the shape of a heart!

This is the Japanese flower that the character Ajisai from naut-cotic is named after. Unfortunately the flower's not in bloom because it's not the season, and it's covered in dirt; making this photograph wholly uninteresting.

This photo was accidentally taken on the train but turned out alright.
