School children are absolutely everywhere in Japan, everywhere except actually at school it would seem. In a state of national crisis, Japanese school children are required to wear coloured hats to alert bystanders of the oncoming hazard.

This sign says 'Beware of stampeding School Children'. Ha-ha, I'm only joking! It actually says 'Fuji hoiku sono', which roughly translates to 'Danger of death'.

Some autumnal trees, there are a lot more of these.

A choco coronet! Yes, another reference to Lucky Star - it's the last one, I promise. This was bought from an authentic German cafe in Matsumoto. Well, as authentic as a German cafe can be in Japan; they somehow managed to spell Germany incorrectly on the trays. And If you were wondering, I ate from the small end.
